Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Telehandlers: Safely and efficiently operate Telehandlers, with a preference for those experienced in the construction range.
- Support Construction Activities: Assist with various tasks on construction sites, demonstrating your expertise in the building industry.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Experience: Significant experience working in the construction industry in New Zealand, with a focus on Telehandler operation.
- Physical Fitness: Must be fit, strong, and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Licences and Endorsements:
- Full New Zealand Driver’s Licence (Class 1)
- NZQA Unit Standard 23637 – Operate a Telehandler (General use)
- Drug and Alcohol Test: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- References: Two verifiable employment references.
- Transport: Reliable personal vehicle to get to work each day.
- Availability: Ready to start early mornings and commit to the job's demands.
- Class 1 or 2 Licence
- EWP Training: If the Telehandler is used as a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP), compliance with AS/NZS 1418 Part 10 2011/AS2550.10 is required, and the operator must have EWP training.
