We’re on the lookout for a Skilled Labourer with rigging and slinging experience to join a busy civil project in Hastings.
This role suits someone confident working on active civil construction sites who can hit the ground running and contribute to a hardworking crew.

Location: Hastings, Hastings
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $28–$36 per hour (paid weekly)

The RoleYou’ll be supporting civil construction crews with skilled labouring tasks, particularly around lifting operations and working safely at height.
Key duties include:

• Rigging and slinging for lifting operations on civil sites
• Assisting with site setup and supporting construction crews
• Working safely at heights where required
• Handling materials and assisting with general skilled labouring tasks
• Following all site health and safety procedures

What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring the right tickets and confidence working in civil environments.
Requirements:

• EWP licence
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• NZQA Unit Standard 30072
• NZQA Unit Standard 3789
• Previous experience on civil construction sites
• Confidence working around lifting operations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Reliable transport to site
