How Does Permanent International Recruitment Work?

We endeavour to go through the entire process from set up to the candidate's first day and beyond.

➡️ Start - Our staff will complete Permanent Terms of Trade with your team; this covers everything from selection criteria, salary, job description, fees and your guarantee.

➡️ Hunt - We begin our search for the right candidates for you; this involves searching our database of over 80,000 staff, working with our external supply partners and running advertising campaigns via online and social media.

➡️ Screening and Interviews - As applicants apply, they are screened by us and if we deem the candidate suitable for your needs we will progress to the next stage which involves face to face or online interviews.

​We conduct an in-depth interview that covers an applicants skills, experience, personality, suitability for a client's individual requirements, health & safety, attitude, family situation and flexibility.

➡️ Background checks - are completed for candidates we interview. This may include, but is not limited to criminal record checks, ACC claims & medical history, reference checks with previous and current employers, verification of qualifications, driver's license checks, and skills testing.

➡️ Client interviews- can be conducted if required; you have the final say on who is suitable for your vacancy. We may present multiple candidates to you for one role so that you have options of who you would like to engage.

➡️ Preparation - Should we get the green light from you to engage the candidate, we complete the final checks including drug testing or visa paperwork if the candidate is overseas.

➡️ NZ Induction - We complete an induction with our staff which covers what to expect when working for a New Zealand company, a full guide to living in New Zealand, as well as assistance on how to obtain licenses, cell phone numbers, medical insurance, bank accounts and IRD numbers and the logistics involved in getting set up in New Zealand

➡️ Travel - Once flights are booked, we send everything through to the candidate and confirm their arrival with your team. Clients can choose to add the relocation fee into the package or to have the candidate pay for their own relocation.

➡️ NZ Work Commencement and Ongoing Communication - We ensure the candidate is work ready and once they have commenced work; we keep in regular contact with the candidate and yourself to ensure everything is running smoothly for the first three months.
