Panel Beater - Earn up to $45 per hour!

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Panel Beater for an immedidate start!

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a panel beater working on both cars and trucks.
• New Zealand Certificate in Collision Repair and Automotive Refinishing (Level 3)
• New Zealand Certificate in Collision Repair – Non-Structural Repair (Level 4).
• Proficiency in repairing and restoring vehicle panels and frames.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in automotive repair.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and repairing vehicle panels and frames on both cars and trucks.
• Removing dents, scratches, and other imperfections using appropriate techniques.
• Repairing and replacing damaged parts and panels as needed.
• Aligning and welding vehicle components where necessary.
• Mixing and applying fillers, primers, and paints to achieve seamless finishes.
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards.
• Collaborating with colleagues and customers to ensure satisfaction with repair work.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to safety protocols.

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
