Fabricator/Welder

Location: Tauranga, New Zealand

We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Carbon Steel, be confident working from blueprints, and able to operate independently or as part of a team. New Zealand-based experience is essential, along with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate structural steel components from detailed drawings and blueprints
• Measure, cut, drill, grind, and assemble steel sections to spec
• Operate Fabrication/Welding tools, hand tools, and workshop machinery safely
• Communicate clearly with welders, supervisors, and quality control staff
• Prior experience working with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Carbon Steel. 

Requirements:

• Proven fabrication experience in New Zealand
• Skilled in blueprint reading and accurate layout work
• Proficient with fabrication machinery and power tools
• Reliable with strong communication skills
