Fabricator Welder
We’re on the lookout for skilled Fabricator Welders to join busy workshop teams across South Auckland. If you’re trade qualified and confident working from drawings, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing work with competitive pay.
Location: South Auckland
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (paid weekly)
About the Role: You’ll be completing high-quality welding and fabrication work across South Auckland. This is hands-on workshop-based work, primarily focused on MIG and TIG welding.

About the Role: You’ll be completing high-quality welding and fabrication work across South Auckland. This is hands-on workshop-based work, primarily focused on MIG and TIG welding.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding on structural and fabrication projects
- TIG welding on precision components
- Fluxcore welding (advantageous)
- Fabricating and assembling metal components
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Fitting and aligning components to specification
- Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
- NZQA Level 4 Trade Certificate in Welding/Fabrication (or equivalent overseas qualification), with current welding tickets.
- Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
- Fluxcore experience is an advantage
- Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
