Fabricator Welder

Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking for your next opportunity in Dunedin? Tradestaff is seeking skilled welders and fabricators to support a range of established engineering and fabrication businesses across the region.
Whether you prefer workshop-based fabrication, on-site installation work, or a combination of both, we have opportunities to suit your skills. You'll work on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects while gaining exposure to different workplaces and teams.

Location: Dunedin Central, Dunedin
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $32–$38 per hour (depending on experience, paid weekly)

Opportunities may include:

• Structural steel fabrication and assembly
• MIG welding to a high standard
• Workshop-based fabrication
• On-site installation and steel erection
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Operating fabrication equipment and workshop machinery
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety

What we're looking forWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• A trade qualification or proven fabrication and welding experience
• Strong MIG welding skills
• The ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working in workshop and/or site environments
• A strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• A positive attitude, reliability, and a solid work ethic
