Fabricator/ Welders

Tradestaff Dunedin are seeking experienced engineering staff for exciting roles within the industry.

We have a number of vacancies so want to hear from people with a range of different skill-sets:

• Trades qualified and/or experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/welders with experience in fabricating and welding structural steel beams for commercial or residential buildings.
• Aluminium and/or stainless steel fabricator/welders with experience manufacturing balustrades, handrails, pipe-work etc.
• Sheet-metal workers with experience in operating relevant plant machinery to manufacture specialist items.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Fabricating and welding structural steel components
• Interpreting plans and drawings
• Operating workshop equipment and tools

We’re looking for people with:

• Trade qualification or proven industry experience
• Ability to work from detailed drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Solid understanding of workshop health and safety
