The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Performing fabrication and welding using multiple welding processes including TIG, MIG, ARC, and other common welding methods
- Fabricating, repairing, and modifying steel structures, components, and engineered parts
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Troubleshooting fabrication and welding issues as they arise
- Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment
- NZ Qualified Welder – New Zealand recognised welding qualification required
- Relevant welding tickets/certifications (must be ticketed)
- Strong experience across multiple welding methods including TIG, MIG, ARC and other fabrication techniques
- Proven experience working in an engineering or fabrication workshop
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Competitive weekly pay starting from $32+ depending on experience
