About the Role
A well-established Canterbury transport repair company is looking for a skilled Curtainside Technician to join their team. You’ll carry out quality repairs to heavy vehicle curtainsides in the workshop and on-site, ensuring jobs are completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
Key Duties

• Curtainside repairs (plus welding, curtain installs, pelmet rubber, etc. depending on your skillset)
• Record jobs using SimPRO – time, parts, notes, and photos
• Complete daily timesheets accurately
• Take clear photo records (before, during, after)
• Maintain tidy workspaces, tools, and vehicles
• Follow Health & Safety policies and PPE use
• Represent the company professionally with customers

 
What You'll Need

• Experience with hand and power tools
• Full NZ driver’s licence (Class 4/5 a bonus)
• Good physical fitness and attention to detail
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset
• Willingness to learn and be a team player
