Heavy Diesel Mechanic
We’re currently looking for an experienced heavy diesel mechanic to join a busy workshop in the West Auckland region. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and diesel vehicles.

Job Description:
In this role you will be responsible for the diagnosis, servicing, and repair of heavy diesel vehicles and machinery. You will work on a range of equipment including trucks, plant, and heavy machinery, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard and ready for operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing mechanical faults on heavy diesel vehicles and machinery
• Servicing and maintaining trucks, plant, and equipment
• Carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• The New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4)
• Over 4 years’ experience as a heavy diesel mechanic
• Strong ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence
