Mechanic

Auto Mechanic – Central Otago

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join a busy workshop.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Repair/replace components (brakes, sensors, engine parts)
• Perform engine tune-ups, overhauls, and replacements
• Repair electrical systems, including wiring and control modules
• Maintain and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems
• Perform routine services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks)
• Follow scheduled maintenance procedures
• Communicate repair needs to customers
• Maintain clean workspaces and service records

What we’re looking for:

• Proven mechanical experience (qualification preferred, overseas OK)
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
