Civil Operator
We’re looking for an experienced Civil Operator to join a busy civil and infrastructure team working across the Christchurch region. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects in a safety-focused environment with consistent hours and ongoing work for the right person. If you’re reliable, motivated, and confident on civil machinery, we’d like to hear from you.

Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly)

Location: Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly)
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating a range of civil machinery including excavators, rollers, loaders, and pumps
- Trenching, drainage, pipeline installation, and dewatering work
- Ground preparation, backfilling, and compaction
- Carrying out daily pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
- Working from site plans and supporting supervisors and site crews
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and productive worksite
- Solid experience operating civil machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers)
- Minimum Class 2 licence (Class 4/5 an advantage)
- Experience with drainage, trenching, and pipe laying
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Reliable work ethic and good attitude
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Available for an immediate start
- Competitive pay: $30–35 per hour, paid weekly
- Consistent hours, Monday to Friday
