Civil Operator
We’re looking for an experienced Civil Operator to join a busy civil and infrastructure team working across the Christchurch region. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects in a safety-focused environment with consistent hours and ongoing work for the right person. If you’re reliable, motivated, and confident on civil machinery, we’d like to hear from you.

Location: Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–35 per hour (paid weekly)

What you’ll be doing:
  • Operating a range of civil machinery including excavators, rollers, loaders, and pumps
  • Trenching, drainage, pipeline installation, and dewatering work
  • Ground preparation, backfilling, and compaction
  • Carrying out daily pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
  • Working from site plans and supporting supervisors and site crews
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy, and productive worksite
What you’ll need:
  • Solid experience operating civil machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers)
  • Minimum Class 2 licence (Class 4/5 an advantage)
  • Experience with drainage, trenching, and pipe laying
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Reliable work ethic and good attitude
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Available for an immediate start
