Civil Drainage Labourer – Christchurch
Tradestaff Christchurch is looking for experienced Civil Drainage Labourers to join established civil crews across sites in the Christchurch area. If you’ve got hands-on drainage experience and want consistent, well-paid work with reputable contractors — this is a great opportunity.

Location: Christchurch (sites across the wider Christchurch area)
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $26–$28 per hour (paid weekly, depending on experience)

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with installation of stormwater, sewer, and water mains
• Trenching, digging, and preparing pipe bedding
• Laying and aligning drainage pipes to specification
• Supporting machine operators and qualified drainlayers
• Maintaining a safe, organised worksite

What we’re looking for:

• Proven civil/drainage labouring experience (essential)
• Confidence working in and around trenches
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Current Site Safe card (or willingness to obtain)
• WTR endorsements or Class 2 licence (advantageous)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
