Civil Works Labourer

We’re looking for experienced Civil Works Labourers to join a busy Dunedin crew for a short-term civil project. This role is ideal for someone with a strong civil background and a full Class 2 licence who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a supportive team.

Location: Dunedin
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $28–32 per hour (paid weekly)
You’ll be working on a project creating new drainage systems, walkways, and driveways. This is a practical, boots-on-the-ground role where your civil experience will be put to good use.

You’ll be doing:

• Civil site preparation and general labouring
• Digging trenches and assisting with drainage installation
• Creating walkways and driveways
• Compacting and operating small plant
• Laying soil and gravel
• Class 2 driving, including carting materials as required

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Full Class 2 licence (essential)
• Proven civil construction experience
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliability and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to pass a drug test
• WTR endorsement (a bonus)
• Site Safe (we can arrange this if required)
