Site Foreman/ Supervisor

Tradestaff have a very exciting opportunity with one of our clients in a Site Foreman/supervisor role. This is a permanent role.

In this role you will be managing a site in either Lower or Upper Hutt in for a foundation works and form works company.

What would be required from you:

• Manage a team builders/sub contractors

• Be part of the hiring process of the builders/labourers

• Work closely with the owner in Christchurch and Tradestaff with hiring requirements and the operation of the site

To be successful:

• Must be able to handle responsibility

• NZ or international qualification in Carpentry/Building

• 5 years minimum experience in the building industry (International or local)

• Must be a thinker and be organised

• Able to work Independently

• Motivated and Self Starter

• Management Experience

Day to day:

• Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.

• Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

• Overseeing all onsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
