Scaffold Spannerhands & Labourers – Immediate Start
Location: Belfast
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $26 – $35 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking Scaffold Spannerhands and Labourers (ticketed or non-ticketed) to join a busy scaffolding team for ongoing work based in Belfast.
This is a hands-on role with an immediate start available, offering competitive pay depending on experience.
This role is suited to workers with strong labouring experience, good tool handling skills, and the ability to follow instructions from ticketed scaffolders and supervisors while working safely on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with erecting and dismantling scaffolding under supervision, including tube & clip, ringlock, and mobile scaffolds
- Handle, carry, and stage scaffold components such as standards, ledgers, braces, planks, base plates, and fittings
- Use hand tools confidently, including spanners, levels, hammers, and impact tools
- Load and unload trucks, organise equipment on site, and maintain tidy work areas
- Follow instructions from ticketed scaffolders and supervisors to ensure work meets safety and quality standards
- Assist with scaffold modifications, lifts, and additions during active projects
- Perform general labouring duties including site clean-up and assisting with materials when required
- Maintain safe work practices including PPE use, hazard identification, and reporting unsafe conditions
- Previous scaffolding labouring or construction labouring experience preferred
- Confident using spanners, hand tools, and basic power tools
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting of scaffold materials
- Strong awareness of site health and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Experience assisting scaffolders on commercial or civil projects
- Site Safe card
- Full or restricted driver licence
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry scaffold components (20–30kg)
- Comfortable working around heights and elevated structures under supervision
