We’re on the hunt for an experienced Roofer to join a reputable team working across a variety of quality projects in the Dunedin area. You’ll be part of a crew that takes pride in their workmanship and values a solid day’s effort on site.

Location: Dunedin City, Dunedin
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $32–$36 per hour (depending on experience)

The role:

• Inspecting roofs to assess repair and replacement needs
• Measuring and cutting roofing materials to specification
• Installing shingles, metal roofing, and other roofing products
• Laying underlays, vapour barriers, and insulation
• Replacing damaged joists or plywood where required
• Sealing joints, flashings, and roof penetrations
• Removing old materials and installing new roofing systems
• Working safely from ladders, scaffolds, or harnesses
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Keeping job sites safe, organised, and tidy
• Collaborating with other tradies on site

What we’re looking for:

• Proven roofing experience (essential)
• Own standard roofing hand tools
• Site Safe (or willing to obtain – we can help)
• Working at Heights ticket an advantage
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable and safety-conscious
