We’re on the lookout for qualified Carpenters to join our team and work across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout the Hawke’s Bay region.
If you’re a skilled builder who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality workmanship, this could be the opportunity for you.
You’ll be working with reputable clients on a range of sites across Hastings and Napier, contributing to projects that keep the region building.
Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $32–$36 depending on experience (paid weekly)

What you’ll be doingYour day-to-day work may include:
- General carpentry and building work on commercial and residential sites
- Formwork, boxing/shuttering, and foundation preparation
- Installing plasterboard/drywall, flooring, and roofing
- Structural repairs and internal/external finishing
- Working at heights using scaffolds, ladders, or EWP
- Safe operation of carpentry tools and working around machinery
- Following strong health & safety practices on every site
- Proven carpentry experience or a relevant trade qualification
- Own carpentry tools
- Own reliable transport
- EWP or Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to work across different sites
- Positive attitude and strong commitment to health & safety
- $32–$36 per hour depending on experience
