Quality Control Technician
As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key part in our quality assurance process — from inwards inspection through to hydraulic pressure testing and final dimensional checks.
You will work closely with production, welding, and machining teams to ensure cylinders meet company standards and customer specifications.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a key part in our quality assurance process — from inwards inspection through to hydraulic pressure testing and final dimensional checks.
You will work closely with production, welding, and machining teams to ensure cylinders meet company standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulic pressure testing of completed cylinders.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional checks.
- Identify leaks, pressure loss, performance issues, or assembly faults.
- Record test results and ensure accurate documentation.
- Measure and verify critical dimensions (stroke, retracted length, mounting widths, pin sizes, threads, etc.).
- Confirm tolerances and correct component installation.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components.
- Verify certificates of conformity and supplier compliance.
- Report defects and raise non-conformance reports.
- Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Follow standardized QC processes and contribute to improvements.
- Experience in mechanical, engineering, QC, or manufacturing roles.
- Understanding of hydraulic systems or mechanical components (preferred).
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Confident in using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent paperwork and documentation skills.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable in a workshop environment.
