We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman for a long-term temporary role on a major commercial construction project in Hastings. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who leads from the front while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and site performance.
About the Role: As Working Foreman, you will oversee daily site operations, supervise crews, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high commercial standard. You will work closely with Site Management to keep the project running on schedule and within compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising site crews and subcontractors
- Hands-on involvement in commercial construction activities
- Monitoring Health & Safety compliance and site standards
- Completing H&S reporting, toolbox talks, audits, and documentation
- Ensuring all work meets NZ compliance requirements
- Coordinating materials, equipment, and daily workflow
- Maintaining productivity, quality control, and site organisation
- Minimum 8 years’ commercial construction experience
- Proven background as a Working Foreman or Leading Hand
- Strong experience in H&S monitoring, reporting & compliance
- Solid working knowledge of DOKA formwork systems (essential)
- Confident team leader with clear communication skills
- Reliable, organised, and solution-focused
