Tradestaff are on the hunt for a Lawn Mower / Grounds Maintenance Worker. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of mowers and other grounds-keeping equipment, ensuring that all areas are well-kept, safe, and presentable. You will play a vital role in maintaining a wide variety of outdoor spaces, from residential lawns to larger commercial properties.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Safely operate and maintain 0-point turn ride-on mowers, ensuring efficiency and quality results
Operate a Steiner tractor mower and other grounds maintenance machinery as required
Perform inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure everything is in good working order
Mow lawns, trim edges, and handle other general landscaping tasks
Work with a team to maintain large-scale grounds and outdoor spaces, ensuring high standards of presentation
Assist with other general grounds maintenance tasks such as rubbish removal, hedge trimming, and weed control
WHAT WE NEED
Full NZ drivers licence - be able to drive manual transmission
Proven experience in lawn mowing and grounds maintenance
Experience with 0-point turn ride-on mowers and tractor mowers
Strong understanding of safe equipment operation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
