Join a thriving, family-owned business with deep roots in fabric and upholstery, operating since 1988. Servicing the marine, transport, agriculture and aviation sectors, this company has expanded across three busy workshops in Nelson, Blenheim and Havelock. Now, they’re on the lookout for a talented Marine Upholsterer to help grow their Havelock operation – ideally someone who thrives in a close-knit team and can take real ownership of their craft.
Your Benefits:
You'll spend around 75% of your time on marine-focused projects – think luxury boat seats, biminis, clears, carpets and bespoke covers – with the rest on a mix of general upholstery, vehicle interiors, shade solutions and tarpaulins. Work primarily from the Havelock workshop or opt to be based in Blenheim, just a scenic 20-minute drive away.

- Precision measuring, cutting and fabricating marine and outdoor textile products
- Delivering top-notch work independently with pride and accountability
- Handling a range of materials including canvas, PVC, mesh and vinyl
- Maintaining client relationships and representing the brand in the local area
- A true craftsperson with a great eye for detail and quality
- Confident working solo and managing projects from start to finish
- Experience with marine or auto upholstery is ideal
- Passionate about boats, the outdoors, and creating products that last
- Great communication skills and a genuine, team-first attitude
