We’re looking for reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join a food processing team in Hastings.
This hands-on role involves operating freeze driers and related machinery in a GMP-compliant environment.
If you have a strong work ethic and a background in manufacturing or food production, this could be a great fit for you.

Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay
Start date: To be confirmed
Pay rate: $25–30 per hour (depending on experience, paid weekly)
Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating freeze driers, infeed and outfeed lines, and related machinery
• Loading frozen raw materials and managing product flow through the system
• Ensuring all processes meet food-grade GMP standards and company specifications
• Following detailed procedures from company manuals
• Managing daily workflow and completing tasks within the shift
• Learning new duties across the freeze-drying process
• Working closely with a small, supportive team
• Identifying improvements and contributing to process efficiency

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience in manufacturing or food processing
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence operating machinery
• Ability to follow detailed procedures precisely
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and reliability
• A safety-first attitude
