Electrician - immediate start available

Tradestaff is on the lookout for Qualified Electricians to join our team for a variety of exciting commercial electrical projects commencing within January 2026. With our clients preparing for a strong year ahead, there’s no shortage of work across commercial builds, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades throughout Wellington & the Hutt valley.
If you’re a motivated, qualified electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants consistent, rewarding work, we’d love to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For:

• Current EWRB Registration and Valid Practising Licence
• Minimum 2+ years’ electrical experience in New Zealand (commercial experience highly regarded)
• Solid knowledge of NZ electrical standards, codes, and compliance
• Ability to confidently read and interpret plans
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Able to pass a drug test and hold a clean MOJ record

• Commercial electrical installations and upgrades
• Fit-outs, wiring, containment, lighting, and switchboard work
• Fault finding, maintenance, and repair tasks
• Working alongside experienced commercial contractors, builders, and site managers
• Projects across the wider Wellington region
