Manufacturing Labourer

We’re on the lookout for reliable and physically fit Manufacturing Labourers to join busy manufacturing sites across Hastings and Napier.
If you’re comfortable working with heavy materials, confident using lifting equipment, and keen on a consistent shift pattern—this is your opportunity to get stuck in and earn well.

Location: Varied sites across Hastings and Napier
Start date: Late January or February
Pay rate: $26 per hour (paid weekly)
What you’ll be doing:

• Transporting and lifting heavy objects (up to 170kg with machine aid)
• Loading items onto conveyor belts from pallets using lifting equipment
• Operating machinery including presses
• Sorting and processing materials as required

Shift options include:

• 12-hour shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off
• OR 12-hour shifts: Monday to Friday
• Day or night shifts available (subject to workload)

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Strong reliability and a solid work ethic
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• Clear communication with team members and supervisors
• Forklift license and OSH (preferred but not essential)
