Forklift Operator - production/warehouse
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join a production and warehouse facility based near Hamilton Airport.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods while supporting daily production operations and maintaining high food quality standards.
Location: Airport, Hamilton
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $28–30 per hour (paid weekly)
About the Role:
Working day shift only, Monday to Friday (7:30am – 4:30pm), you will be responsible for the safe handling and movement of products across the warehouse and production areas.

About the Role:

Your duties will include:
- Operating forklifts move pallets, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Loading and unloading trucks in line with company procedures
- Supplying production lines with raw materials and removing finished products
- Stacking, wrapping, and storing products in designated warehouse locations
- Completing daily pre-start checks and reporting maintenance issues
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and required documentation
- Following food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Assisting with general warehouse and production tasks as required
- Current and valid Forklift Licence with OSH certificate
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Experience in food production or FMCG (preferred)
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit and capable of lifting when required
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
