Forklift Driver & Production Technician

We are seeking two entry level Production Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team. This role primarily involves manual handling tasks such as loading and unloading wool into tanks, with forklift operation being secondary. We offer both full-time and part-time hours, making this an ideal opportunity for those seeking flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual handling of materials: loading and unloading wool into tanks, and performing general site duties
• Operating forklifts (OSH certified), when required
• Supporting the production line to ensure smooth and efficient processes
• Maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar industries
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A basic understanding of machinery operation and maintenance
• The ability to maintain detailed batch records and documentation in compliance with standards
• Ability to conduct upstream and downstream bioprocessing operations, from input preparation to product packaging
• A valid forklift license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dispersed leadership model
