Forklift Driver
Work as a Forklift Driver in the baling department at a busy industrial site in Hamilton. This role suits someone with a current OSH certificate who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-based environment.
Location: Hamilton
Start date: Screening and shortlisting will begin in the New Year
Pay rate: $27 per hour (paid weekly)
Shift hours: 3:30pm –1:30am, Monday to Friday (45–50 hours/week)

Key responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, stack, and transport cardboard, pallets, and finished goods
- Operate and monitor cardboard baling machinery to compact waste materials
- Load cardboard waste into the baler and remove completed bales
- Secure, label, and stack bales for storage or dispatch
- Conduct daily pre-start checks on forklifts and baler equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site policies
- Report equipment faults, safety hazards, or maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with general yard or production duties as required
- Current OSH certificate (essential) ,(F) endorsement (beneficial)
- Previous experience operating a baler or working in a manufacturing/recycling environment (preferred)
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
