Excavator Operator

Tradestaff is looking for experienced GPS Digger Operators to join a long-term project, with work starting in the new year. You’ll be working across major sites in Tauranga, operating GPS-controlled machinery on large-scale civil works.

Location: Varied sites across Tauranga
What you’ll be doing:

• Bulk earthworks on large-scale civil projects
• Trenching and service-related excavation
• Final trim using GPS machine control
• Carrying out general operational tasks as required on site

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience operating diggers with GPS machine control
• WTR endorsement
• Class 4 licence minimum
• Strong understanding of civil construction site requirements
• Commitment to safe and efficient work practices
• Ability to pass a pre employment drug and alcohol test
• Ability to supply a clear MOJ check
