Water Tank Driver Class 2  – Civil Works

Lower Hutt | Day Shift | Monday to Friday $35.50 per hour
We’re on the lookout for a Water Tank Driver to join a busy civil crew based in Lower Hutt. This is a day shift, Monday to Friday role with consistent hours and ongoing work. If you hold a Class 2 licence and enjoy hands-on civil work, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Water Tank Driver, you’ll play a key role on civil construction sites, including:

• Operating water trucks
• Watering roads, trenches, and construction areas for dust suppression
• Supporting crews with general civil labour when not driving
• Assisting with site preparation and maintenance
• Following site safety procedures and traffic management requirements
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance

What we’re looking for:

• Full NZ driver’s licence – Class 2
• Experience in civil works, construction, or roading is an advantage
• Confident driving in and around active work sites
• Physically fit and happy to jump out of the truck to help the crew
• Strong focus on health & safety
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
