Machine operator, Digger operator, Civil operator, Based in Waihi

Moxy and WTR Experience required
Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely operate excavators, backhoes, skid steers, and bulldozers for trenching, digging, and material handling.
Drainage Installation: Assist in the installation of stormwater, sewer, and drainage systems, ensuring proper trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling.
Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, marking out trench lines, and setting up safety barriers.
Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials like pipes, gravel, and concrete to the site using appropriate machinery.
Maintain Equipment: Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery, ensuring all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
Grade and Level: Work with team members to grade and level trenches, ensuring accurate slope for proper drainage flow.
Surveying Assistance: Assist surveyors in determining proper pipe alignment and elevation by using leveling equipment.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the crew’s safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and traffic control measures.
Excavation and Backfilling: Excavate trenches for pipeline installation, and backfill trenches once work is complete, ensuring compaction standards are met.
Team Collaboration: Communicate and work closely with other crew members, foremen, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met.
