Excavator Operators (Tokanui Area)

We are looking for experienced Excavator Operators to join our team for a project starting mid-February in the Tokanui area. The project is expected to run for approximately 6 to 8 months and will involve demolition and excavation work. We are seeking skilled operators who can contribute to various tasks throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating excavators for tasks such as demolition and excavation.
• Assisting with site preparation, trenching, and material movement.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and to specifications.
• Maintaining equipment in good working order and reporting any issues.
• Following all safety guidelines and maintaining a safe working environment on site.

Key Skills & Qualities:

• Experience operating excavators—candidates with demolition experience will have an advantage.
• WTR endorsement required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of excavation and demolition procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as an Excavator Operator, especially in demolition and excavation work.
• WTR endorsement essential.
• Must have a Full Class 1 Driver’s License and reliable transport to the Tokanui site.
• Able to pass a drug test and provide two work references.
• Clear MOJ
