We’re on the lookout for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join busy teams across Bay of Plenty.

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be hands-on across a wide range of diesel vehicles and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Dismantling, repairing, and reassembling engines and components
• Replacing worn or defective parts
• Following service manuals and technical guides
• Performing scheduled servicing (oil changes, tune-ups, lubrication, etc.)
• Testing and adjusting parts for optimal performance
• Using diagnostic tools and computer systems
• Responding to breakdown callouts
• Inspecting vehicles and issuing (or advising on) roadworthiness

 
What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years' experience working on diesel engines
• Trade qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Class 1 licence preferred
• Strong commitment to health & safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Two recent work references
