Industrial Shift Fitter – Join a Future-Focused Team
Location: Kawerau, Bay of Plenty
Pay Rates: $38 - $42 per hour (dependant on experience)

What you’ll do
You’ll be hands-on with keeping the mill running at its best, ensuring production flows smoothly with minimal downtime. Your day-to-day will include:

• Mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting & fault finding
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Operating machinery in Greenmill or Drymill when needed
• Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency gains

 What we’re looking for
You’re a mechanically minded problem-solver who thrives in busy environments. You’ll bring:

• A trade qualification (Maintenance & Diagnostics, Fitting & Turning)  or 2–3 experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing work, welding & gas cutting
• Experience in fast-moving manufacturing (sawmilling experience is a bonus!)
• Great communication skills and a proactive, team-first attitude
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety
