Facilities Maintenance Technician

We’re seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with strong HVAC and mechanical experience to support essential maintenance work across a variety of commercial sites. You’ll be part of an on-site engineering team responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth daily operations.
Location: Dunedin City
Pay rate: $30 per hour (paid weekly)

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Routine maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems
• Working within an engineering team to ensure system reliability
• Pipework installation, repairs, and modifications
• Air filter replacement and cleaning for optimal air quality
• Steam and water system maintenance and minor repairs
• General building maintenance related to HVAC systems
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

You’ll need:

• Strong HVAC and mechanical experience (heat pumps, motors, filters, pumps)
• Relevant trade qualification in mechanical/HVAC
• Site Safe or equivalent health and safety certification
• Experience with steam/water systems and technical diagrams
• A full NZ driver’s licence
