Crane Trainee

Location: Queenstown
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $28–32 per hour (paid weekly)

You’ll be:

• Supporting crane operations under experienced supervision
• Assisting with rigging and dogging on site
• Carrying out skilled labouring and hammerhand tasks as needed
• Communicating clearly over radio with the team
• Helping maintain a high standard of site presentation and safety

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Good level of English (for clear radio comms)
• Strong work ethic and initiative
• Physically fit and reliable
• Own reliable transport required
• Interest in crane operation as a long-term career path
• Dogman or rigging tickets a bonus (not essential)
• Be planning to stay in Queenstown long term
• Willingness to muck in on tools when not on the crane
