CNC Operator/Machinist – Hawke’s Bay

What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll use your technical expertise across a range of tasks including:
- Studying drawings/specifications to determine materials, machining methods, and sequence of operations
- Operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other metalworking tools
- Assembling and fitting metal components into machines and equipment
- Conducting precision checks using measurement instruments
- Maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical parts
- Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance
- Potential site-based machinery erection and setup
What We’re Looking For:- Minimum 3+ years' relevant experience
- Trade qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Your own tools and reliable transport
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Two work references
- Class 1 driver’s license preferred but not essential
- Commitment to workplace Health & Safety
