Truck driver/Handy person Wanted

We have an opportunity for a Class 2 Truck driver/ handyperson in Balclutha. The right person will be operating a Broom truck (the one with a sweeper broom on the front).  Tasks involved in the role are as follows:
 

• Sealing road potholes
• Sweep intersections free of debris
• Straighten up signposts and tighten signs if they have come loose
• Clean signs and marker pegs 
• Inspect and clean bridge decks
• Roadside rubbish collection
• Footpath maintenance (sweeping, cutting back overhanging vegetation, filling holes etc.)
• Cut back vegetation obscuring signs
• Clear mudtanks and slot crossings

 
Ideally the right person will be up to play with technology, tablets etc. Must be a self-managing, handy person with good practical skills.
