Class 4 Driver

Are you an experienced Class Four Driver looking for your next opportunity in the civil industry? Tradestaff has several clients in Upper Hutt seeking skilled and reliable drivers to join their teams, with ongoing work available from January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating trucks with both manual and automatic gearboxes
• Working Monday to Friday
• Completing daily paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping on the truck (washing, cleaning, rubbish removal)
• Using ProStart systems
• Following clear instructions and delivering work to a high standard
• Communicating effectively using UHF/VHF radios
• Assisting with labouring tasks when required
• Using DAF truck systems

Requirements:

• Clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Experienced in both manual and automatic truck operation
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
