We’re on the lookout for an experienced Traffic Management Planner to join our dedicated traffic services team. This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a passion for road safety, and the ability to turn complex site requirements into safe, compliant, and effective Temporary Traffic Management Plans (TMPs).

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and submit site-specific TMPs using RapidPlan, ensuring compliance with NZGTTM (and CoPTTM where applicable).
- Interpret engineering and site drawings to design safe and efficient traffic layouts.
- Identify site-specific risks and integrate appropriate safety measures.
- Coordinate with traffic crews, clients, and Road Controlling Authorities for approvals and implementation.
- Review and update plans to reflect site audits, project changes, or feedback.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Advanced RapidPlan skills.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of NZGTTM, CoPTTM, and related standards.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- TTM Planner Certification or STMS Qualification (required).
- 2+ years’ experience in TTM planning, traffic control, or road construction.
- Valid NZ driver’s licence.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of council TMP systems (e.g., Submitica) and experience working with RCAs and utility providers.
