Maintenance Carpenters Wanted!

Tradestaff Hawkes Bay is currently seeking carpenters to join one of our valued clients in a full-time carpentry position with an immediate start!

We are after people who have their NZ Level 4 Certificate in Carpentry. However, if you have a lot of experience as a carpenter in NZ- we still want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
As a small works/ maintenance carpenter, you will be required to, under the client’s discretion:

• Completing repair jobs such as fixing doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, and other wooden structures
• Installing a variety of fixtures and fittings such as shelves, countertops, molding, trim work etc.
• Complete renovations
• Applying trim and finishing touches to interiors and exteriors

 
Requirements:

• Trade qualification in carpentry or 5+ years proven experience as a carpenter in NZ
• Minimum of one carpentry related reference is essential
• Strong understanding of the New Zealand Code and related regulation
• 100% commitment to Health and Safety
• Willingness to undergo and pass a drug test
• At minimum, a NZ restricted drivers license AND your own mode of transport
• Ability to read and interpret plans accurately
• Own tool kit + power tools is essential
