Tradestaff are looking for a dedicated Machine Setter - 2IC to join our team for an immediate start! This role involves supervising and coordinating production activities, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, training new staff, and actively participating in production tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers on the factory floor.
- Coordinate daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and efficiency.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation protocols to guarantee product safety.
- Train new team members on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
- Work alongside team members to meet production goals and address any issues.
- Troubleshoot technical problems with machinery and equipment.
- Document production activities and generate reports for management.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and productivity.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in food processing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Hands-on experience operating production machinery and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in production tasks as needed.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Have 2 ready work references
- Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license
