Extrusion Operator

Pay rate: $28–$32 per hour depending on experience (weekly pay)
What you’ll be doing:
- Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings where required
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Troubleshoot minor machinery issues during operation
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
- Load and monitor raw materials during production runs
- Store and restock materials appropriately
- Record production data and machine settings accurately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Basic knowledge of extrusion or similar machinery operation
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality inspection equipment
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Ability to work early morning shift (typically 6:00am – 2:00pm, with potential 10-hour shifts during busy periods)
