About the Role As a Skilled Hammerhand, you’ll be involved in a range of tasks supporting builders and site managers across residential and commercial builds. Daily duties may include:
- Assisting with framing, formwork, and fit-out tasks
- Using hand and power tools confidently and safely
- Reading basic plans and following instructions from qualified builders
- Site preparation, clean-up, and general labouring
- Supporting trades across all stages of the build
- Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times
What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience as a Skilled Hammerhand
- Strong tool skills and experience with saws, nail guns, drills, etc.
- Ability to follow plans and work unsupervised when required
- A solid understanding of construction processes
- Good physical fitness and a strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, can-do attitude
- Site Safe, EWP, or other relevant tickets (advantageous but not essential)
- Your own basic tool kit and PPE
