Fitter/ Turner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter/Turner to join our team for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will be proficient in machining operations, including turning, milling, and grinding.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fitting and turning tasks according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines
• Inspect and measure finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
• Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness
• Adhere to health & safety protocols and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fitter/Turner or similar role
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant technical qualifications/certifications

Successful applicants must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have 2 ready work references
• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.

Please note that our work is mainly industrial and therefore for Health and Safety reasons you do need a good command of English.
