Automotive Electrician – Canterbury

Are you an experienced Automotive Electrician looking for a new challenge? Fancy living and working in vibrant and thriving Christchurch-Canterbury?

What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working on a variety of vehicles and systems, including:

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Maintaining automotive electrical systems
• Identifying faulty wiring and defective components
• Installing alarms, GPS, audio systems, lighting and more
• Testing and replacing batteries and charging systems
• Diagnosing systems like airbags, ABS, ECUs, and advanced safety tech
• Carrying out safety checks on electrical systems

Bonus if you’ve got diesel or petrol mechanical experience too, including general servicing, filter replacements, or engine overhauls.

What we’re after:

• Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on experience
• Trade-qualified (or experienced enough to match it)
• Own tools
• Reliable transport
• Class 1 licence preferred
• Two work references
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Strong focus on health & safety
