Welder/Fabricator
We’re on the hunt for an experienced welder/fabricator to join a busy team in Dunedin City. This role involves structural and heavy steel work, so proven fabrication skills and welding experience are essential. If you're ready to get stuck into hands-on work and can start straight away, we want to hear from you.

Location: Dunedin City
Start date: Start in January
Pay rate: $35
Key duties include:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans
• Cut, bend, and shape heavy structural steel components
• Operate and set up a MIG welding machine
• Operate tools and machinery for metal fabrication and welding
• Assemble and fit heavy steel structures to specification
• Conduct quality checks and maintain safety protocols

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience with heavy steel and structural fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
• Welding qualifications preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Site Safe (can be arranged if not already held)
