Welder Fabricator
We’re looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy Invercargill workshop. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident across both welding and fabrication, with the ability to work on a wide range of projects from short jobs through to longer-term builds.

The role

Key duties
- Welding and fabrication of metal components and structures
- Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Cutting, shaping, bending, and forming metal using fabrication tools
- Setting up and operating welding and metalworking equipment
- Preparing and cleaning materials prior to welding
- Assembling and fitting fabricated parts
- Inspecting completed welds and finished work for quality and accuracy
- Following all safety requirements and procedures
- Welding experience (MIG / TIG / ARC)
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Experience with stainless steel, alloy, and/or heavy fabrication
- Confidence using fabrication tools and workshop equipment
- Strong attention to quality and safety
- Reliable transport
- Ideally based in Invercargill
- Own tools considered a bonus
- Weekly pay
- On-site parking (depending on location)
