Welder/Fabricators Wanted
Are you a skilled Welder/Fabricator with experience across multiple welding techniques and fabrication types?
We’re on the lookout for adaptable, hands-on professionals who can hit the ground running and take pride in producing quality work on a variety of materials and projects.
Bay of Plenty will be the predominate area of work for this role; however, you may also be required to work in the Waikato region. This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.
About the Role
We’re seeking experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our team and contribute to a wide range of fabrication and welding projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident working with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, as well as both light and heavy fabrication.
You’ll be working with materials such as stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium, and contributing to a variety of structural and non-structural projects.

You’ll be working with materials such as stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium, and contributing to a variety of structural and non-structural projects.
In this role you will:
- Carry out welding and fabrication across diverse projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Perform high-quality welds using MIG, TIG, and ARC techniques
- Shape, bend, and assemble components for both light and heavy fabrication work
- Join components through welding, bolting, or riveting
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ welding and fabrication experience
- Proficient across a variety of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Experience with light and heavy fabrication
- Familiarity with stainless steel is an advantage
- Trade qualification preferred, but strong practical experience considered
- Own tools and reliable transport required
- Two work references
- Commitment to Health & Safety standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
