About the Role Tradestaff Hawke’s Bay is urgently seeking an experienced Corrosion Control & Coatings Technician to join a hardworking team servicing industrial and infrastructure projects across Napier.
This is a hands-on role with immediate start available.
You must be flexible to work both day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Surface preparation (abrasive blasting, grinding, water blasting)
• Application of protective coatings (spray, brush, roller)
• Assisting with QA and inspection of completed work
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in corrosion control and/or industrial coatings
• Comfortable working at heights and in challenging environments
• Ability to commit to day and night shifts
• Physically fit and reliable
• Current driver’s licence and own transport
• Relevant tickets/certifications an advantage (e.g., Site Safe, Working at Heights, Confined Space)
